A proposito di Gopherus, sull'ultimo numero di Reptilia cè uno speciale proprio su queste tartarughe. Ci sono 3-4 articoli su riproduzioni, protezione e descrizione delle 4 specie...molto molto interessante!!!

As I promissed, I will add some photos of other two Gopherus species, too. I also hope, Sg. Gian (Trifo) will have first bred of G. agassizii of all European breeders. He needs to find one adult male only, and I am sure he will get few babies very soon!
Right now, I would like to write something about G. polyphemus i.e. Florida Gopher Tortoise. Current situation with this species is much better than will other 3 ones, due there are few breeding station of this species in Florida (Sandalwood Game Reserve, Gatorland, etc...) as well in good captive bred obtained by some US Tortoises breeders, too.
I tried to include photos of all age of this species, including some photos of their will habitat!
