@Grammo:they are alachnoides arachnoides.Their care would be long to explani in English so I try to sum it up.
They are active from mid-late april to mid decembre, some individual is slower some turn on faster. From december to march they hybernate with no food,no water and I keep them very dry.Temperatures during hybernations goes from 12-13(night) to no more than 22 during the day.The top of the terrarium have 4 lamps sokets in which I change different spots from 26w to 60w.This year I add a 50w metal halide lamp because I wasn't happy about the light quality
They become active in May,after rising back the temperature and we reach an average of 37° in the day and 25° in the night with peaks of 48° and 28°.They seems to be very confortable at those ranges.I spray the terrarium with warm water almost every other night. In this way I have high night humidity that lower during the day(40% day and 75%night).I don't grow malgasy plants for now.
I give them every kind of vegetables, some fruit but only melon seems to be accepted. They have a bath about once each week.
With this schedule,I noticed that males(overall the bigger one)trying to mate, but my females are too small. They refuse them very kindly by putting their head in front of him/them.Mating is absolutly not aggressive. If you buy new specimens,I suggest to let them have a shorter hybernation time, because I know that some keepers don't even know that they should be hybernated in orderd to be breeded. In the future I'm thinking and hopeing to work only with pyxis genus.
