Io e Platy eravamo gli unici (credo!) ad aver visti i G. nigrinoda, da un negozio!

E meno male che qualcuno li alleva 'sta stupenda specie...
Pensavo fosse finita del dimenticatoio.

Femmina- 15 cm

Allora tra tutto il genere Graptemys, sono i più "mini" e più adatti all'allevamento in casa!
Mi raccomando, AFRO-thunder, falli riprodurre e tanti, ok?

@Guscioduro: It's definitely the plan to make them reproduce. Last year I had 20 eggs but only 2 hatchlings But I hope that this year will be better!

I keep 0,3 in an Aquarium of 120cm x 50cm x 60xm. The females are all under 15cm CL. When they get bigger, they will get a bigger glass tank. Here is a picture of their tank from last year (this year it looks slightly different, but the basic things haven't changed):



the blue thing on the left side is the basking/egg deposition area which is covered with Aquarium - Fotobackground so the turtles can have their privacy (they are very shy). You also can't see the 70W HQI lamp (150W would be better) I am using for the basking area, which is a key to keeping your Graptemys good.
